The RU is a radio frequency unit device of the system that implements radio frequency signal processing functions. It converts the digital signals from the EU into radio frequency signals to achieve wireless coverage of 5G NR. At the same time, it converts the uplink radio frequency signals into digital signals and transmits them to the EU.
