Maoshan Summit on the Development of 2020 New Generation of Mobile Communication Industry was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu province on September 17. The summit was hosted by Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, Changshu City People's Government and China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, with "Opportunity and Innovation under New Infrastructure" as the theme. It sets a master forum "Innovation Award of Maoshan Summit on the Development of 2020 New Generation of Mobile Communication Industry" and a sub-forum "Maoshan Discussion: Industry Face to Face (Stepping into the Park) & 5G Radio Frequency Industry Innovation Forum". The key provincial and ministerial leaders, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and industry experts gathered at Jintan for the summit to jointly discuss opportunities and innovations under 5G new infrastructure, promoting the development and commercial maturity of new generation mobile communication.

2020 Innovation Award of Maoshan Summit on the Development of the New Generation of Mobile Communication Industry was also announced at the conference. The "5G MMW All-In-One Small Cells Scheme" of Gongjin Electronics Cells Communication Co., Ltd. won the innovation award. Wu Yali, the general manager of Gongjin Electronics Cells Communication Co., Ltd. attended the conference and received the honor on behalf of the company. 5G MMW All-In-One Small Cells of Gongjin Electronics, the first MMW cells with SA mode, can be independently deployed to provide millimeter-wave Giga bandwidth service with high rate and low delay when the deployment conditions of the private network are available. The cells apply ASIC special chip, which significantly reduces the 5G power consumption concerned by the industry. The integrated innovative design of cells make it easy to install and deploy, and solves the problem of obtaining the site of mobile cell.

This summit released a number of white papers and research results, including White Paper on 5G New Infrastructure Development, White Paper on 5G Regional Assessment, and White Paper on Analysis Report of the Development of the New Generation Mobile Communications Industry. Ni Guangnan, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered the keynote speech. Tang Xiongyan, the chief scientist of China Unicom Network Technology Research Institute, Wang Dapeng, the chief expert of China Mobile Research Institute and other industry experts discussed innovation and development, working together to build a sound industrial ecosystem for win-win results.
