On December 3, the 2024 Guangdong Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises Summit and the Guangdong-Guangxi East-West Cooperation Guangxi Chongzuo Promotion Conference were held in Guangzhou. The Guangdong Manufacturing Association, Jinan University's Institute of Industrial Economics, and the Guangdong Development and Reform Research Institute jointly released the 'Research Report on the Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises in Guangdong for 2024', with Gongjin Co., Ltd. ranking 66th on the list. The list is primarily based on the annual operating income of enterprises, identifying a group of key players that contribute to stabilizing the manufacturing industry and regional economy in the province.
The report indicates that the total operating revenue of Guangdong's top 500 manufacturing enterprises in 2024 amounted to 5.32.But the total net profit of the enterprise was 333.936 billion yuan, an increase of 16.56% compared to 2023. The report shows that the high-quality development of Guangdong's manufacturing industry faces a more complex internal and external environment, with important strategic opportunities and major risks and challenges coexisting for a long time. Manufacturing enterprises should accurately grasp the development trend, adhere to a comprehensive, dialectical, and long-term perspective to analyze the current economic situation, and be good at cultivating opportunities in crises and opening up new opportunities in changing situations.
The summit also promoted the cooperation between the eastern and western regions of Guangdong and Guangxi in Chongzuo, Guangxi. Li Jiazheng, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Pingxiang Industrial Park Management Committee, Jian Muqiong, Deputy Director of the Chongzuo High tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, and Li Nengtie, Deputy Director of the Chongzuo Airport Economic Cooperation Zone Management Committee, respectively conducted business promotion.
