On Dec. 12, the donation ceremony of “Green Seedling Project” of T&W Charity Foundation was held at T&W Hope Primary School in Mabian, Sichuan Province. You Min, the manager of Gongwei Comprehensive Management Department of Chengdu, took a bus for more than eight hours to send study and living subsidies (500 Yuan per student) to poor students graduating from T&W Hope Primary School who were admitted to junior high schools on behalf of the foundation.RMB 26,500 Yuan was donated in total. The money would be used as the subsidy for poor students in the fall semester of 2018. In the future, the subsidies will be allocated to students from poor families according to the policy and specific situations.
The “Green Seedling Project” is a donation project carried out by T&W Charity Foundation in response to the national call of "Targeted Poverty Alleviation". It aims at helping students from poor families in T&W Hope Primary School, Mabian County, Sichuan. After this donation issuing ceremony, poor students can get the living subsidy immediately, which can alleviate economic difficulties of poor households that set up the registration cards and give students living and learning guarantees so that they will no longer drop out of school because of poverty.
