From December 1st to 5th, the 30th plenary session of the Transmission Network and Access Network Technical Working Committee of the China Communications Standards Association was successfully held. The Gongjin Electronic Product Platform R&D Center, in collaboration with Ruijie Networks, proposed the establishment of an industry standard. Zhang Xukun attended the meeting as our company's representative.
The meeting primarily deliberated on the application for the establishment of the industry standard titled "Requirements for Passive Ethernet Color Optical Access Technology Based on Wavelength Division Multiplexing". During the discussion in the TC6 WG2 (Access Network and Home Network) working group, the standard was successfully approved for establishment. This standard, jointly proposed by Gongjin Electronics and Ruijie Networks for the first time, marks a crucial step in collaborative innovation in technical standards between the two parties, and will also provide new impetus for the standardized development of access network technology.
In addition to standard advancements, the conference also conducted multiple thematic discussions centered around cutting-edge trends in the transmission and access network fields. Our company's representatives actively participated in the learning and exchange of hot topics, including "VHSP 200G PON Technical Solution", "ION-2030 Technology and Industry Development", "Hollow-core Fiber Technology", "FTTR Standards and AI-related Technologies", etc. The relevant content covered the evolution direction of next-generation optical network products such as high bandwidth, intelligence, and low latency, providing an important reference for our company's subsequent technological layout.
