On June 8th, the construction of the 2880kW distributed photovoltaic project in Taicang Tongwei Park officially commenced. This project leverages the roof resources of idle factories in the park to plan and construct a photovoltaic power station. Adopting an operation model of "self-generation and self-consumption, with excess power fed back to the grid," it is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of 3.2 million kWh. This project effectively revitalizes roof clean energy resources and achieves large-scale utilization of green energy.

Upon completion and commissioning, the project will further optimize the energy consumption structure of enterprises, effectively reduce production electricity costs, significantly decrease carbon emissions from production, and comprehensively assist enterprises in achieving green, low-carbon, quality-enhancing, and high-efficiency development. Simultaneously, the project will provide a high-quality practical example for the large-scale and standardized promotion and application of photovoltaic energy in the industrial sector of Taicang City, contributing significantly to the regional promotion of industrial green transformation, the implementation of the ecological priority and green development concept, and the achievement of the dual carbon goals.
