On June 6th, Gongjin Electronics celebrated its 35th anniversary of entrepreneurship. In order to pay tribute to its entrepreneurial aspirations, inherit its corporate culture, and unite the forces for progress, the company held a 35th anniversary company celebration hiking event with the theme of "Integrated Innovation, Strong China, I Am Part of It" simultaneously in multiple locations across the country. The Shenzhen headquarters, along with Taicang, Shanghai, Haining, Vietnam, Jinan, Xi'an, and Dalian, embarked on a 10-kilometer Citywalk in various places, measuring time with their feet and passing on strength side by side to celebrate the company's birthday together.
After 35 years of development, we have built a billion-yuan enterprise and are now embarking on a new journey. Led by the group and empowered by its capabilities, we are setting new standards and striving to become a powerful nation. On the morning of the 6th, a hiking team dressed in unified blue quick-dry T-shirts gathered at the south gate of Dashahe Park in Shenzhen. More than 120 employees marched along the ecological corridor towards the Talent Park. The hiking event in East China was held along the banks of Suzhou's moat. Management personnel and employee representatives from Shanghai and Taicang walked together through the ancient city, experiencing the blend of history and modernity. Employees from Haining embarked on the "most beautiful Wengjin route", starting from the Sculpture Park, following the Qiantang River, passing through the Tidal Park, and arriving at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel, enjoying the river breeze and the waves. Employees from the Vietnam factory completed a 10-kilometer hiking along the coastal area of Tu Mountain in Haiphong. Wenyuan Communication walked around the lake in the Huashan Scenic Area in Jinan, fully displaying the team's vitality amidst the beautiful scenery. The base station team in Xi'an hiked around the Kunming Lake Heritage Park, feeling the weight and vitality of the company's development amidst historical relics. The base station team in Dalian started from the world's first marine-themed sculpture park and hiked across China's first offshore anchored suspension bridge, the Xinghai Bay Bridge, ultimately arriving at the century-old city sculpture at Xinghai Square, a city landmark built to commemorate the centennial of Dalian's founding. Employees from all regions marched with determination, interpreting the spirit of "growing together, making extraordinary progress" through sweat.
After the hiking, symposiums and company anniversary lunches were held in various locations. Hu Zumin, the general manager of the company, delivered a company anniversary message at the main venue in Shenzhen. He reviewed the company's journey from its humble beginnings in Shekou, to deepening its roots in communications, expanding overseas, entering the automotive electronics sector, and becoming a billion-dollar enterprise. He expressed gratitude to founders Tang Fonan and Wang Dawei for their leadership and to all employees for their perseverance. He pointed out that less than 0.2% of companies in China have been able to survive for more than 35 years, and those that have broken through the billion-dollar mark are even rarer. Every employee should be proud of their contributions. With the company's joining of Tangshan Industrial Holding Group, its development has entered a new stage. He called on all employees to have the courage to "overcome challenges anew" and the attitude of "strengthening the country with me", and to scale new heights with the empowerment of the group.
Subsequently, a video message of blessings from colleagues across the country for the 35th anniversary celebration was played on site. In a warm atmosphere, six representatives of different generations from the main venue in Shenzhen - Tang Fonan and Wang Dawei, who have been with the company for over 30 years, Hu Zumin and Long Xiaojing, who have been with the company for over 20 years, as well as the new generation of leaders Wang Jiawei and Wang Ya'e - jointly cut the 35th anniversary birthday cake. Simultaneously, cake-cutting ceremonies were held at various branch venues: Yang Jinke from the Vietnam venue, Wang Lan and Yi Wanchun from the Taicang venue, Wang Hong from the Haining venue, Li Fei from the base station in Xi'an, Jiang Hao from the base station in Dalian, and Luo Yanghui from the Jinan Wenyuan venue, along with local representatives of new and old employees, cut the cake together. The entire audience toasted to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Gongjin, and everyone will integrate and forge ahead at this new starting point, continue to innovate, and steadily move towards a broader future.
